Germany's points-based Opportunity Card allows skilled non-EU graduates to enter Germany for up to 1 year to find qualified work.
The German Chancenkarte (Opportunity Card) represents Europe's most ambitious skilled worker initiative. Built upon a transparent points system inspired by Canada and Australia, candidates who score at least 6 points can secure a 1-year residence permit to find full-time employment in Germany.
How the 6-Point System Works
Points are awarded based on recognized foreign qualifications, German/English language competency, age under 35, and verifiable professional work history.
